Goodbye sweet Lily. Seeing her take her last breath was one of the hardest things I’ve experienced. I tried to prepare my heart to be completely shattered into pieces, but I learned there is no way to possibly do that. I’m beyond grateful that she outlived and defied the odds of big dog breeds and made it to 14 ½ years old – I know that is a miracle.

When life feels hopeless, remember that this is only temporary. This doesn't discount the pain or hardship you are facing. Trust me, I get it. But I promise you that life can be good again. You can experience joy and God's goodness. You should choose life because things WILL change for the better and you can't see what good things lie ahead of you.
